Cavaliers finish strong to put away the Celtics 106-87.

Cleveland blows the game open in the 4th quarter to even the series 2-2. Boston leads much of the 3rd quarter as the 2 teams stay close despite hot shooting by Cleveland and much cooler shooting by the Celtics. However, after leading by 2 with just over 8 minutes to play, the Cavs out-score Boston 27-8 down the stretch.

Bingo Smith leads Cleveland with 27 points and Jim Cleamons and Austin Carr add 16 points apiece. Boston gets 42 points out of its backcourt duo of Jo Jo White and Charlie Scott, but get just 19 points out of its starting front court.
