Dominique Wilkins, Hawks best the Celtics 126-123 in OT.

Wilkins leads Atlanta with 54 points, including the critical 3-point play w/ :17 left that provides the difference against Boston. Wilkins, who scored 40 points after halftime, added a pair of free throws to help seal the win.

Wilkins scored 16 of the Hawks' final 17 points in regulation to compete the with Celtics' duo of Kevin McHale and Larry Bird. McHale finishes with 36 points. Bird overcomes poor shooting for much of the game to score 26 points while adding 15 rebounds and 14 assists.

Kevin Willis helps Wilkins with 18 points and 21 rebounds while Doc Rivers dishes out 19 assists.
