Chicago takes a 3-1 lead in the series on the strength of a huge game by allegedly injured Michael Jordan. Jordan scores 47 points, hitting 23-of-28 from the line, showing no effects of a groin injury he supposedly has. He also adds 11 rebounds and 6 assists.

New York stayed with the Bulls through the 1st 3 quarters, trailing by just 4 points, but Chicago takes over in the 4th. Bill Cartwright adds 21 points in support of Jordan.
