Chicago cools off Portland after dropping Game 2, holding the Blazers to just 35.9% shooting from the floor grabbing the lead in the 1st half and maintaining a margin through the 2nd half. The Bulls are lead by the triumvirate of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant.

Jordan leads the way with 26 points while Pippen has 18 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and Grant adds another 18 points, 8 boards and 6 assists. Clyde Drexler has 32 points for Portland, but finds little help with Danny Ainge adding 12 points off the bench to be the Blazers' 2nd leading scorer.
