Chicago takes a strangehold on the game early, opening a 39-26 lead in the 1st quarter to help take a 3-2 series lead over Portland. Michael Jordan ignites the start and finishes with 46 points while Scottie Pippen adds 24 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists.

Clyde Drexler leads the Blazers with 30 points. Portland tries to claw back into the game in the 2nd period, but struggles to close the game to less than 9 points as the Bulls stay in control with the lead ebb-and-flowing from close enough for the Blazers to make a run to bordering on blowout.
