St. Louis jumps out to a 14-0 lead and separates from its divisional co-leader. Kurt Warner throws for 294 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Rams.

The Rams convert a San Francisco turnover on the opening series into a 6-yard TD run by Marshall Faulk. Warner extends the lead with a 15-yard TD pass to Ricky Proehl late in the 1st quarter, and then answers a 49ers' TD with a 3-yard TD pass to Faulk late in the 1st half for a 21-7 lead.
