Raiders hold off the Cowboys for 28-21 win.

Oakland sprints to a 21-0 lead and then withstands a late rally by Dallas after recovering an onside kick in the final 2 minutes. The Raiders score on their 1st 3 possessions and again on their 1st possession of the 2nd half for a 28-7.

However, Dallas rallies, helped by turnovers, closing within 14 on a 8-yard TD run by Tim Seder on a fake FG. Then after 2 failed 4th down attempts in Oakland territory, the Cowboys convert a 3rd time into a TD pass from Anthony Wright to Darrin Chiaverini w/ less than 2 minutes to play.

Rich Gannon hits 21 of 28 for 209 yards and a TD pass to Jerry Rice.
