After successive late-game rallies and OT wins, Chicago comes up short in a battle for control of the NFC Central. Green Bay stops the Bears inside the 30 in the final minute to preserve the victory and a share of 1st place.

Brett Favre throws for 268 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Packers. Favre hits Bill Schroeder with a 41-yard TD in the 2nd quarter to give Green Bay a 10-6 lead, and then extends it to 17-9 with a 9-yard TD pass to Antonio Freeman midway through the 3rd quarter.
