Atlanta's power game is too much for Carolina. Jamal Anderson rushes for 98 yards and splits the Panthers' defense for a 94-yard TD reception from Chris Chandler. Chandler hits 11-of-14 for 244 yards and 2 TDs.

Chris Weinke throws for 276 yards and runs for a TD as Carolina stays close into the 2nd half, but Chandler finds Anderson open in the middle of the field for a completion and Anderson takes it the distance for a 94-yard TD and 17-10 lead early in the 3rd quarter. The Falcons stretch the lead to 24-13 in the 4th quarter.
