Marshall Faulk sprints 71 yards for a TD on the 3rd play of the game and St. Louis never looks back, scoring the first 31 points en route to the rout. Faulk rushes for 183 yards and 2 TDs on just 15 carries before going to the bench earlier. Trung Canidate steps in and rushes for 145 yards and 1 TD on 16 carries in Faulk's place.

After Faulk's early TD, Robert Holcombe follows with a 1-yard TD run and Kurt Warner hits Isaac Bruce with a 26-yard TD before Faulk scores again with a 6-yard TD run early in the 2nd for a 28-0 lead.
