Washington @ N.Y. Giants

Network: FOX
Announcers: Sam Rosen, Bill Maas
Format: DVD (2 disks)
Quality: 7.75
Notes: Commercials and halftime edited out... Overall this is subpar for a 2001 game, the source material was weak aerial that was grainy and had ghosting, making one wonder why if someone cared enough to record a broadcast they would put up with such poor reception in the 21st Century... The result is a lot of pixelization in the picture... and there is also a noticeable audio ring.

Game Notes

Defense prevails as Giants beat the Redskins 23-9.

New York holds Washington to 181 yards and Jason Sehorn provides the clinching play with a 34-yard INT return for a TD w/ 2:57 left. The Giants sack Tony Banks 4 times and force him into 4 turnovers.

Damon Washington steps up as super sub for New York, rushing for 90 yards in place of injured Tiki Barber and Ron Dayne. Kerry Collins throws for 177 yards and a 1-yard TD pass to Dan Campbell for a 16-9 lead early in the 4th quarter.
