Ricky Williams scores on a 1-yard sweep on the final play to lift New Orleans to the win after Carolina had rallied for a 25-20 lead. The Panthers had climbed out of a 17-0 deficit to go ahead on Steve Smith's 70-yard punt return for a TD w/ 1:48 left.

However, Aaron Brooks rallies New Orleans on a 82-yard drive, that Carolina appeared it may stop, but the Saints were left with :01 to play and the ball at the 1, setting the stage for Williams' game winner. Williams rushes for 147 yards on 31 carries.
