Patriots air out the Steelers 30-14 in the opening game at New England's new stadium.

Tom Brady goes 29-of-43 for 294 yards and 3 TDs, at one point throwing on 25 straight plays at Pittsburgh is unable to stop New England's passing attack. Leading 10-7 at halftime, Brady starts the 2nd half with a 40-yard TD pass to Donald Hayes.

Brady follows it with a 22-yard TD pass and Adam Vinatieri hits a pair of FGs to run the Patriots' lead to 30-7. Meanwhile, Kordell Stewart tosses 3 INTs and loses a fumble for the Steelers.
