New England gets 4 FGs and a TD pass from Adam Vinatieri and Troy Brown plays defensive back due to injuries, in addition to catching Vinatieri's pass on the fake FG, and linebacker Mike Vrabel catches a TD pass.

The Patriots lead 19-14 at halftime after Vrabel catches a 2-yard TD pass from Tom Brady. However, New England is forced to settle for 4 FGs. Facing a 5th FG early in the 2nd half, Vinatieri flips the ball to a wide-open Brown for a 4-yard TD pass and 26-14 lead.
