Eagles stage an improbable 13-10 upset of the Cowboys on MNF.

Philadelphia finds its self badly outplayed yet capitalize on scarce chances to stun Dallas on Tom Dempsey's 45-yard FG in the final minute. Randy Logan's INT sets up the winning score, the Eagles get their lone TD when Joe Lavender scoops up Doug Dennison's fumble and races 97 yards for a TD to tie it 7-7 in the 3rd quarter.

Despite holding a 317-to-94 edge in total yardage, the Cowboys find themselves in a position of tying the game at 10-10 on Mac Percival's 26-yard FG in the 4th quarter. The Cowboys had led on Doug Dennison's 3-yard TD run in the 1st half, but the Eagles get the critical turnovers, and 2 key completions by Roman Gabriel setting up a FG in the 4th quiarter.

Dallas finishes with a 385-to-165 edge in yardage, but also equal Philadelphia's 3 turnovers. Drew Pearson catches 10 passes for 161 yards and Robert Newhouse rushes for 97 yards. Conversely, Gabriel manages just 67 yards net passing.
