Rams pull away from the 49ers for a 34-14 rout.

Los Angeles weathers a rally by San Francisco, and finishes off the 49ers following a pair of INTs by Bob Brudzinski and Rod Perry. Leading 20-14, the Rams convert Brudzinski's pick into a 1-yard TD run by John Cappelletti.

Following Perry's interception and lateral to Bill Simpson, Lawrence McCutcheon scores on a 1-yard run to finish off the 49ers. Los Angeles had built a 17-7 lead before Delvin Williams scores his 2nd TD of the day, but following a 2nd missed FG attempt by Tom Wittum, the 49ers' rally fades. McCutcheon rushes for 89 yards and 2 TDs.
