Cowboys finally overcome the Vikings in overtime for 16-10 win.

Dallas misses a late chance to win when Efren Herrera misses a FG attempt in the final minute of regulation, but the Cowboys drive for a 4-yard TD run by Roger Staubach after stopping Minnesota on its first possession of OT.

The Vikings commit 5 turnovers, including 3 INTs by Fran Tarkenton, two of which are picked by Cliff Harris. However, Minnesota is able to cling to a 7-3 lead until late in the 4th quarter when Staubach hits Preston Pearson with a 7-yard TD pass. The Vikings answer, driving for a tying 35-yard FG by Fred Cox.

After Tarkenton hooks up with Chuck Foreman on a 18-yard TD pass in the 1st quarter, both offenses settle into a slow battle of field position.
