Patriots hold on for a 14-10 win over the Bills.

New England escapes a late rally by Buffalo to remain atop the AFC East. The Patriots run through the Bills' defense for 279 yards on the ground, but are almost undone by Steve Grogan's mistake that gives Buffalo a late chance.

Horace Ivory leads the New England attack with 128 yards and 2 TDs that open a 14-3 lead. However, Grogan fumbles with just over 2 minutes left rather than protecting the ball, allowing the Bills to draw within 1 score on Joe Ferguson's 11-yard TD pass to Bob Chandler. The Patriots are able to recover the ensuing onside kick and run out the clock to seal the win.
