Bucs rally to stay perfect with a 17-13 win over the Bears.

Doug Williams hits Isaac Hagins with a 8-yard TD pass w/ 5:07 to play to lift Tampa Bay to a 5-0 start, making the Bucs the last unbeaten team for the season. Tampa Bay had dominated the game, but Walter Payton breaks loose for a 65-yard TD on a screen pass from Vince Evans w/ 10:50 left.

However, Williams guides Tampa Bay on a long drive to answer the score. Williams goes 14-of-31 for 168 yards, but the bulk of the Bucs' attack comes from Jerry Eckwood, who rushes for 120 yards and catches 3 passes for 46 yards. Eckwood sparks the Bucs with a 61-yard TD run in the 1st quarter.
