Vikings hold off punchless Lions for 14-7 win.

Detroit, attempt to get its 2nd win in 12 games, gets in front first when Jeff Komlo scores on a 13-yard run. But the Lions can't add to it, managing just 167 yards, committing 3 turnovers and converting just 1 3rd down.

Minnesota draws even on Rickey Young's 23-yard cutback TD run in the 3rd quarter. The Vikings' offense struggles as well, but Young is a bright spot with 87 yards rushing and 13 yards receiving. His 2-yard TD run late in the 3rd quarter gives Minnesota the lead and the Lions are unable to mount a rally threat.
