Dallas dominates mistake-prone San Francisco, which commits 10 turnovers in being routed. Danny White hits 16-of-22 for 239 yards and 4 TDs as the Cowboys roll to a 45-7 lead early in the 2nd half.

The Cowboys outclass the 49ers, while also leading a charmed life. A bad shot gun snap results in a scramble and 50-yard completion that sets up Dallas' 1st score on a 16-yard TD pass from White to Drew Pearson. Later, White tries to run for a 1st down from punt formation but gives up and punts, only to have the 49ers mishandle it and fumble, leading to another score.

Pearson finishes with 3 catches for 55 yards and 3 TDs. Ron Springs and Tony Dorsett combine for 156 yards and 3 TDs on the ground.
