Ray Wersching's 33-yard FG late in OT wins after a long San Francisco drive. The 49ers had rallied to erase a 21-14 deficit on Paul Hofer's 26-yard TD run with just under a minute in regulation.

Hofer carries the San Francisco attack, rushing for 89 yards and also adding 9 catches for 135 yards and 1 TD. Jim Hart leads St. Louis with 265 yards and 2 TDs.
