Philadelphia struggles offensively throughout but convert 3 turnovers into 3 scores in the 2nd half to deny St. Louis the upset. The Eagles had missed 2 FGs and failed on a fake FG try before getting on the board on 9-yard TD run by Wilbert Mongtomery in the 3rd quarter.

Montgomery's score follows a fumble recovery by Jerry Robinson deep in Cardinals' territory. Philadelphia adds a FG following Brenard Wilson's interception of Mike Loyd on the next series. The Eagles add one more TD in the final minute to seal the win.
