Buffalo goes 70 yards in 3 plays on 2 passes and a 'clock kill', with Joe Ferguson hitting Roland Hooks with a 36-yard TD pass w/ :05 left after New England appeared poised for the upset, handing the ball over to the Bills with just :35 left and no timeouts.

Buffalo clung to a 13-10 lead late in the 4th quarter before a big pass to Stanley Morgan set up Matt Cavanaugh's 5-yard TD pass to Matt Hasselbeck with just under 2 minutes to play. Morgan has 3 catches for 141 yards, including a 56-yard TD on a halfback pass from Andy Johnson in the 1st half.

The Bills are forced to battle strong winds and intermittent flurries and icy conditions for much of the game without an injured Joe Cribbs, however, Hooks and fullback Roosevelt Leaks step up. Hooks rushes for 45 yards and catches 6 passes for 111 yards, while Leaks has a career-best 92 yards on 19 carries.
