Game Notes

Giants survive the wind, Rams for a 10-7 win.

New York stays in the Wildcard race in a game dictated by 40 mph winds. With both teams opting to take the wind and kicking off each half, Los Angeles converts the wind advantage in the 1st quarter for a 2-yard TD run by Wendell Tyler and 7-0 lead.

However, the Rams don't cash more good field position. The Giants use the 3rd quarter wind advantage to set up a 1-yard TD run by Rob Carpenter, and then drive to the 2-yard on the final play of the 3rd, setting up Joe Danelo's 19-yard FG.

But offense is at a premium as the 2 teams combine for 387 total yards, but the Giants have the advantage of forcing 3 turnovers by the Rams.
