Cowboys storm back to beat the Redskins 31-30 on MNF.

Washington opens its title defense but dominating the 1st half and building a 23-3 lead before Dallas scores 28 straight in the 2nd half to stun the defending champions. Danny White overcomes a miserable 1-of-9 1st half by tossing 3 TDs and sneaking in for another.

Following Joe Theismann's 41-yard TD pass to Charlie Brown late in the 1st half, the Redskins appear headed to a rout. However, White hits Tony Hill for a 75-yard TD pass to start the 3rd quarter and then follows with a 51-yard TD pass to Hill to cut the deficit to 23-17.

White scores the go-ahead TD on a 1-yard run early in the 4th quarter and then stretches the lead to 31-23 with a 1-yard TD toss to Doug Cosbie w/ 1:49 left. Hill finishes with 3 catches for 133 yards.
