Detroit opens a 17-3 lead in the 1st half on the strength of a 1-yard TD run by Vince Thompson, and a 21-yard TD pass from Eric Hipple to Jeff Chadwick. The Lions break the game open in the 3rd quarter when James Jones scores on an 8-yard run, and Leonard Thompson takes a reverse 40 yards for a score.
