Ron Jaworski hits John Spagnola with the game-winning TD on a 2-yard toss w/ :02 left after Philadelphia gets a reprieve with a phanton face mask call when Minnesota stops Wilbert Montgomery on 4th-and-goal. Replays show no face mask, but the Eagles capitalize on the gift.

Philadelphia dominated most of the 1st 3 quarters, but manage just a 12-3 lead on 4 FGs by Paul McFadden. The Vikings rally when Alfred Anderson finds Tommy Kramer for a 20-yard halfback pass to cut the lead to 12-10 early in the 4th quarter, and then Anderson adds a 1-yard TD run.

Jaworski throws for 240 yards and 1 TD, while Montgomery rushes for 98 yards, surpassing Steve Van Buren for the Philadelphia career rushing record.
