Ron Jaworski beats the Dallas blitz for a 36-yard TD pass to Kenny Jackson to put Philadelphia ahead in the 4th quarter. Jaworski hits 22-of-35 for a career-high 380 yards, overcoming the Cowboys' blitzes and 4 sacks.

Dallas appears to have the Eagles on the ropes, but short-circuit with 4 critical turnovers. Gary Hogeboom is picked off twice inside the 20, including once in the end zone and Tony Dorsett fumbles inside the 20 to kill another scoring chance. An earlier Dorsett fumble sets up 1 of 3 FGs by Paul McFadden as Dallas loses for just the 3rd time when Dorsett rushes for over 100 yards, finishing with 100 yards and 1 TD run and 1 TD catch.
