Green Bay wins it on Al Del Greco's 23-yard FG w/ :07 left after Minnesota had rallied to tie on the previous possession. The Packers' defense mounts a goal line stand forcing the Vikings to settle for an 18-yard FG by Jan Stenerud and a tie.

Defenses dominate, with Green Bay edging in front on a 45-yard FG by Al Del Greco early in the 4th quarter. The Packers' defense had given them a 14-7 lead when Tim Lewis returned a fumble 6 yards for a score early in the 3rd quarter. However Minnesota tied it on Tommy Kramer's 43-yard TD pass to Leo Lewis on the next possession.
