Green Bay wins its when Eddie Murray's 42-yard FG attempt hooks wide left on the final play, moments after Al Del Greco hits a 45-yard FG w/ 1:00 to play. Del Greco's kick saves the Packers who saw Detroit erase a 31-7 lead.

Chuck Long throws for 362 yards and 3 TDs, and the Lions capitalize on a fumble and safety by Green Bay's Walter Stanley. Stanley catches 6 passes for 150 yards and a 70-yard TD, but also fumbles setting up 1 score and steps back into the end zone on a kickoff resulting in a safety helping to spark the Lions' rally.
