Vikings dominate 23-0 on Thanksgiving.

Minnesota takes a 20-0 lead on the Lions in the 1st half and cruise. The Vikings outgain Detroit 353 to 60 as they complete the season sweep with a 906-to-149 edge in total yardage. The Lions finish with just 3 first down, getting their 1st with less than 2 minutes in the 3rd quarter, gaining just 11 net yards on their 1st 7 possessions.

The Vikings start while trying a conservative game plan before breaking a scoreless tie in the 2nd, with Alfred Anderson scoring a pair of TDs, and Chuck Nelson adding 2 FGs. After Minnesota starts the 2nd half with a 9+ minute drive for another FG, the outcome is sealed.
