Three turnovers are converted into 17 points in the 3rd quarter erasing a 7-0 Minnesota lead at halftime. Pepper Johnson starts to surge with a 39-yard INT return for a TD. The Vikings fumble the ensuing kickoff result in a 39-yard FG by Raul Allegre.

Jeff Hostetler, stepping in after Phil Simms is injured, connects with Lionel Manuel on an 11-yard TD pass. Ottis Anderson puts the game away with a 2-yard TD run in the 4th quarter.
