Lions stall the Falcons for a 21-14 win, while largely ignoring Barry Sanders as a weapon in favor of Mouse Davis' "Run-and-Shoot" attack.

Sanders is given just 18 touches, but manages a 17-yard TD run in the 2nd quarter that proves to be the difference after giving Detroit a 21-7 lead. Meanwhile, the 'genius' Davis makes sure to keep the ball in the hands of mega-offensive threats Rodney Peete and Bob Gagliano putting his ego over Sanders' HOF talents.

Atlanta closes to within 21-14 on Steve Broussard's 3-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter, but the Falcons' rallies die in the 2nd half.
