New York dominates the 1st half but only manages to translate that into a 13-0 lead. After being stopped on a goalline stand at the end of the 1st half, Miami's offense awakens in the 2nd half, driving for an 11-yard TD run by Marc Logan on the 1st possession.

Dan Marino follows up with a 69-yard TD pass to Mark Duper on the next series to tie it 13-13. After the Jets regain the lead on Pat Leahy's 3rd FG, Marino leads the Dolphins on a final drive, capping it with a 13-yard TD pass to Duper.

Marino throws for 262 yards and 2 TDs with Duper catching 5 passes for 125 yards. Ken O'Brien throws for 256 yards and 1 TD.
