Game Notes

Raiders rally, beat the Seahawks 23-20 in OT.

Los Angeles overcomes 5 turnovers and a 17-0 deficit to top Seattle on Jeff Jaeger's 37-yard FG in OT. Ronnie Lott picks off Jeff Kemp deep in Seattle territory to set up the winning kick.

The Seahawks had opened a 17-0 lead on Patrick Hunter's 32-yard INT return for a TD in the 2nd quarter. However, the Seattle offense grinds to a half with Kemp staggering to the finish completing just 1 of his last 10 passes with 3 being intercepted.

Jay Schroeder overcomes a pair of INTs, and throws for 274 yards and 2 TDs. Schroeder 12-yard TD pass to Tim Brown ties it 17-17 in the fourth quarter. However, Kemp's lone completion in his last 10, a 56-yarder to Brian Blades sets up a go-ahead 45-yard FG by John Kasay. The Raiders answer and tie the game on Jaeger's 49-yard FG w/ :06 left.
