Oilers rally to beat the Lions 24-21 on Thanksgiving Day.

Houston answers a late go-ahead TD by Detroit with a winning drive, capped by Lorenzo White's 8-yard TD run with 1:17 to play. The Oilers had driven 83 yards for the score after the Lions took a 21-17 lead on Erik Kramer's 8-yard TD pass to Barry Sanders w/ 2:57 left.

Cody Carlson's 4-yard TD pass to Haywood Jeffires early in the 4th quarter put Houston in front. The Oilers had struggled to convert drives into points, getting their only TD prior on a fumble return by William Fuller.
