Washington takes advantage of Indianapolis mistakes to roll up a 30-10 lead and then holds off the Colts as they score a pair of TDs in the final minutes. The Redskins turn 1 fumble into a 79-yard return for a score by Darrell Green, and another deep in Indianapolis territory for a 1-yard TD run by Mark Rypien.

Brian Mitchell's 2-yard TD run in the 4th quarter makes it 30-10. Reggie Brooks leads Washington's struggling offense with 105 yards rushing and 1 catch for 43 yards.

Jeff George rallies the Colts with a pair of late TDs, but its too little too late. George completes 37 of 59 for 376 yards and 3 TDs, with Reggie Langhorne catching 12 for 203 yards and 1 TD.
