Eddie Murray's 41-yard FG in OT wins it for Dallas after New York erases a 13-0 deficit, tying the game on David Treadwell's 32-yard FG in the final minute. The Cowboys build a 13-0 lead and ride a heroic effort by Emmitt Smith, who plays through an injured shoulder in the 2nd half, finishing with 168 yards on 32 carries, while catching 10 passes for 61 yards and 1 TD.

Smith's effort is answered by Rodney Hampton, who rushes for 114 yards and leads New York's comeback in the 2nd half. The Giants get on the board in the 3rd quarter on a 1-yard TD run by Jarrod Bunch, and the draw even with 2 FGs by Treadwell.
