Kansas City converts Green Bay mistakes into victory. The Packers commit 6 turnovers, one resulting in a missed scoring chance when Dan Saleamua forces a fumble at the goalline, and another is turned into a TD when Saleamua scoops up a fumble caused by Derrick Thomas and runs it in 16 yards for a 10-9 lead early in the 3rd quarter.

Brett Favre's 1st MNF results in 3 interceptions and a fumble as Green Bay comes up short in its 1st MNF game since 1986. The Chiefs struggle offensively, but manage to put together enough, with 3 FGs by Nick Lowery and a TD run by Marcus Allen.
