Cris Carter hauls in a pass from Warren Moon and takes it in for a 65-yard TD to win it. Minnesota's game winner follows a missed FG by Kevin Butler on Chicago's opening possession in OT. Butler had forced OT with a 33-yard FG late in the 4th quarter.

Butler's game-tying kick comes after the Vikings erase a 24-16 deficit, taking the lead when Moon connects with Carter on a 1-yard TD pass.

The offensive execution late comes after inconsistent play throughout. However, the Bears get a TD on Jeff Graham's 60-yard punt return, and another following a special teams turnover. The Vikings get a TD on Dwayne Washington's 54-yard INT return in the 1st quarter.
