Redskins beat the Cowboys 27-23.

Washington holds off a late rally by Dallas, which plays most of the game without Troy Aikman who injured a calf on the 1st possession. The Cowboys had led 10-3 on Darren Woodson's 37-yard INT return, but with the offense limited the Redskins are able to take over with ball control.

Gus Frerotte hits Marc Logan with a 9-yard TD pass and then Terry Allen with a 5-yarder as Washington opens a 20-10 halftime lead. Allen, who rushes for 121 yards, pushes the lead to 27-10 with a 1-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter.
