Cincinnati erases a 21-point deficit in the 2nd half and wins it on Doug Pelfrey's 51-yard FG at the gun. Minnesota, which was eliminated by a series of other results, sees 2 FG attempts for the lead in the 4th quarter fail as Fuad Reveiz slips on one, and hooks a chip shot.

The Vikings had built a 24-3 halftime lead on 2 TD passes by Warren Moon and a 37-yard INT return by Alfred Jackson. Eric Bieniemy's 5-yard TD run caps the Bengals' 1st possession of the 2nd half and the Jeff Blake adds a pair of TD passes to tie the game 24-24.
