Cardinals finally beat the Redskins 37-34 in OT.

Arizona comes back from being down to Washington by 14 twice in the 4th quarter and then Kevin Butler makes good on a 32-yard FG in the final minute of OT after a penalty wipes out a miss from 37 yards, giving him a second chance. Butler had earlier missed from 38 yards on the Cardinals' 1st possession of OT.

The Redskins followed a fumble on Arizona's second OT possession by driving for a 38-yard game-winning FG by Scott Blanton. However, Scott Galbraith was called for holding and Blanton misses his 2nd try from 48 yards.

Boomer Esiason is able to drive Arizona for the winning as the Cardinals overcome 6 turnovers, including 4 interceptions, thanks to his 522-yard and 3 TD performance. Esiason's 12-yard TD pass to Anthony Edwards with :20 left sends the game to OT.
