Kansas City wins it on Marcus Allen's 2nd TD run, with less than a minute to play. Allen dives in from 1 yard out. Earlier, he starts the scoring with a 1-yard TD, his 111th career rushing TD breaking a tie with Walter Payton for the most in NFL history.

Rich Gannon tosses a pair of TDs in his 1st start, the 2nd, a 9-yarder to Derrick Walker early in the 4th quarter ties it. Detroit answers with a scoring drive, capped by Jason Hanson's 21-yard FG after a goal line stand by the Chiefs.
