San Francisco's offense rolls with backup Elvis Grbac at the helm. The 49ers roll up 372 yards offense against Baltimore's injury-riddled defense to overcome 4 turnovers.

Grbac throws for 268 yards and 1 TD and scores another on a QB sneak late. San Francisco answers an early Baltimore score with 17 straight points, but fall behind 20-17 on Eric Zeier's 2-yard TD pass to James Jones following a fumble. However, the 49ers immediately answer with a TD drive for a 1-yard TD run by William Floyd on the ensuing possession. Chris Doleman records his 3rd sack of the game, forcing a fumble by Zeier, and then recovers it for a TD and 31-20 lead in the 4th quarter.
