Denver wins it on Jason Elam's 33-yard FG late in overtime after Buffalo scored 20 straight points in the 4th quarter to tie it on Steve Christie's 55-yard FG w/ :02 left. The Broncos appeared to have the game in hand after Keith Traylor returns an INT 62 yards for a TD and 20-0 lead late in the 3rd quarter.

However, Alex Van Pelt replaces Todd Collins in the 2nd half and throws for 177 yards and 2 TDs to rally the Bills. Terrell Davis carries 42 times for 207 yards and 1 TD and catches 5 passes for 29 yards.
