Trailing 10-7, the 49ers get a 2nd chance after an INT by Deion Sanders is negated by a penalty, and then Steve Young promptly connects with J.J. Stokes for a 29-yard completion to the 1. William Floyd scores the go-ahead TD on the next play.

San Francisco gets a big 2nd half from Garrison Hearst, who finishes with 104 yards rushing and 1 TD. The Cowboys jump out to a 10-7 lead, but see its offense stymied when Emmitt Smith is forced to the sidelines and the offensive line is unable to protect Troy Aikman.
