After Chicago jumps to a 7-0 lead, Detroit dominates the rest of the game. Barry Sanders rushes for 161 yards on 19 carries, topping the 100-yard mark in the 1st half as the Lions establish control.

Scott Mitchell hits 16-of-25 for 215 yards and 2 TDs. Mitchell puts Detroit ahead 10-7 with a 16-yard TD pass to Johnnie Morton in the 2nd quarter, and then later extends the lead to 29-7 with 27-yarder to Herman Moore early in the 4th quarter.
