Chicago finds heartbreak and a 7th straight loss when a 2-point try for the win and onside kick attempt in the final 2 minutes fail. The Bears had pulled within a point on Erik Kramer's 22-yard TD pass to Chris Penn w/ 1:54 left, but his toss to Raymont Harris on the 2-point try is errant.

Chicago had jumped in front 10-0 before Green Bay awakens. Brett Favre tosses 3 TD passes, the last a 12-yarder to Mark Chmura gives the Packers a 21-17 lead in the 3rd quarter.
